New Cyprus specialist tour operator, Biblio Travel, headed by managing director Clare Tobin, has expanded its travel trade sales team, and appointed three industry specialists to report into Sales Director, Tina Hodge.
The newly created roles are a key part of Biblio Travel’s pledge to ensure the business will be a comprehensive go-to operator, offering complete price parity while paying attractive commission levels to trade partners.
From five-star boutique to two-star self-catering, and from well-known favourites to some new properties into the UK market, the breadth of product and knowledge of Cyprus will guarantee it will be highly competitive on quality and price.
Louise Tansey, who covers the South and Midlands regions has joined the team and is well known throughout the travel trade industry with a wealth of experience. She began her career with an independent agency and most recently has 13 years working with Bourne Leisure’s Travel Trade Sales Team.
Tansey said: ‘This new position with Bilbio Travel presents the perfect opportunity for me and I am genuinely excited to be joining the UK trade sales team and most importantly back working with our wonderful trade partners in the industry I love.
With a proven track record in developing sales and a great relationship with agents from across the board, Suzanne Arnold has also joined the business to cover the North region. Most recently the Business Development Manager for If Only Holidays, Arnold continues her successful career which began with Co-operative Travel and has included Disney JTA and USAirtours.
Arnold said: ‘I’m really excited about this new opportunity and getting out to see our agents and showing them what we have to offer. Cyprus is a lovely destination I know well and it’s great to be joining a brand-new tour operator with all the security and financial backing that comes with it.’
Covering London and the South East region, Amy Power completes the newly formed trio. With over 16 years’ experience, Power has spent most of her career working for large tour operators, including Unijet Travel, First Choice, Specialist Holidays Group and most recently the Travelopia Group where she has been working closely with independent trade partners.
Power said: ‘ I am so excited to join the great team at Biblio Travel helping launch the fantastic products we offer to our trade partners. I can’t wait to get back out on the high street visiting our lovely agents.”

The new structure comes into effect with immediate effect.
